Karoline Leon Nordby is passionate about creating music experiences with Latin American music and established the cultural business concept Kafésynk in 2017.
I collaborate with youth organizations, cultural venues, the districts of Oslo municipality, and other cultural actors.
In collaboration with these, will I produce music education programs for children an youth together with the artists. In addition do we also produce major concert productions and cultural events, with a focus on Latin America.

I have a degree in psychology, organization and management, and have work experience as a stage manager and stagehand at various large productions in Norway and abroad.
At Kafésynk, I produce my own projects and hire both artists and technicians for implementation.
I’m also a booking agent and coordinator for external artist groups who want to set up their concerts on Kafésynk’s platform.
I grew up with a mother who suddenly became “burnt out” and bedridden. In my early teens, I used my energy to care for her and to take care of the house.
But a couple of years later, I discovered salsa dancing and music. Here I found my own little “breathing room.” When I danced it was just me and the music, and nothing else.
Later, after a long academic education, I found my way back to dance, music, and Latin American culture.
I now want to give other young people the opportunity to be captured by the Latin American rhythms, as I did, and give them positive experiences through, and with music.
