Kafésynk has helt more than hundres concerts, and is grateful to be able to present some of the most famous Norwegian artists who play music from Latin America. These include Per Arne Glorvigen, Hanne Tveter, Marit Sandvik, Ola Rokkones, Sverre Indris Joner. In 2022, Kafésynk started working with international artists from abroad such as Jimmy Bosch, Tromboranga Salsa Orchester and the tango band El Cachivache Orkesta.
“Barnas Latin – Amerika” is a Kafésynk production. with a total of 14 artists, we entertained around 600 children and adults with music, dance and activities at SALT in May 2022.
Salsa trombonist Jimmy Bosch visited us in 2022 to play with the Tromboranga Salsa Orchester. Jimmy also offered master classes to professional musicians and musicality classes to salsa dancers
The Tromboranga Salsa Orchestra held a unique concert in the premises of SALT, with Jimmy Bosch as guest artist
Per Arne Glorvigen, described as the “Tango King”, visited Kafésynk with his trio in March 2022.
Cuenta Cuentos is one of Kafésynk’s productions for children with fairy tales and songs from Latin America performed by Millaray Salomon, Dag Henning Kalvøy, Thorbjørn Sandvik and Celio Carvalho.
